Pop mega star Sabrina Carpenter drops in to Fortnite this week as its latest Festival icon skin

I'm working late, 'cause I'm a gamer.

Please, please, please, come play Fortnite for the new Fortnite Festival season eight featured artist, the Short n’ Sweet sensation herself, Sabrina Carpenter.

The blonde pop star’s inclusion in Epic Games’ music mode for Fortnite was leaked weeks ago, but today the news has been made official along with the first look at her skins and information about this season’s music pass.

The 1,400 V-Bucks music pass includes the Sabrina Carpenter skin, wearing a yellow nightie, and the yellow bodysuit style, along with several new songs like her songs “Please Please Please,” “Taste,” “Juno,” and “Nonsense.” It also includes “You Oughta Know” by Alanis Morissette and “Dark Horse” by Katy Perry, along with several other cosmetics.

If that’s not enough carpenter for you, A Sweet Little Bundle includes the Tour-Ready outfits (pictured above), SC Heart Purse back bling, Taste emote, Please Please Please emote, Cute Cutout contrail, and Sabrina’s Mic, so you can scream “Espresso” to your heart’s content.

Carpenter joins the likes of Hatsune Miku, Snoop Dogg, Karol G, Metallica, Billie Eilish, and The Weeknd as those who have been immortalized through Fortnite Festival seasons, along with many other icon skins throughout the years.

You can stick to Fortnite Festival to play as Sabrina there or drop into any other Fortnite mode to act out the “Taste” music video and bring your own shotgun back to the battle. But the skins are just a part of what’s new in the music mode.

There are also some improvements to the tune-up feature to better sync the video and audio in Festival mode, and any favorited outfit you have in your locker will be added to your random bandmates while on stage and playing the game.

Fortnite Festival’s season eight kicks off tomorrow, April 8, and will run for several months until a new musician takes the stage. Isn’t that sweet? I guess so!
